Granular Urea

The urea from OCI Agro is a granulated high concentrated nitrogenous fertilizer with 46 % nitrogen, CO (NH2)2.
Urea in the soil will first be converted by soil organisms (enzymes and bacteria) into ammonium, respectively nitrate before the crop can absorb the nitrogen. The converting speed depends especially on the soil temperature and water supply.

Efficiency of urea

In direct contact with the air gaseous ammonia losses occur during the conversion process.
The result is an average return of urea from 80 to 85%. The efficiency can be increased by applying specific methods (like incorporating the fertilizer).

With proper adjustment evenly spreadable

This granulated product is with adequate adjustments of the spreader and little wind good applicable up to ± 30 meters.
You may limit your working width compared to the application of nitrate fertilizers. Application in any case with little wind! Use the right spreading chart for your type of spreader for EFC urea (from OCI) in order to avoid spreading problems.
